New this year! We’re thrilled to welcome Brode and Dustin Beckwith as our official Dryland Trainers for the LWCF Youth Workshops. These two bring the energy, the experience, and the know-how to help young athletes build strength, stability, and confidence on the boom and log.
Brode is a certified CrossFit Level One Trainer (CF-L1) who brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the training environment. As a teenager, he competed in the CrossFit Games, earning a spot among the top 20 fittest athletes worldwide. Not only has he achieved personal success, but he’s also coached his dad to the CrossFit Games, helping him qualify in the 50-54 division for two years running. Brode’s passion for fitness extends beyond CrossFit—he began log rolling with the Namekagon River Rollers at a young age, embracing the challenge and discipline that comes with the sport.
Whether your kid’s new to log sports or leveling up for competition, Brode and Dustin will help them train smart and have fun doing it!

Lumberjack Games - Splash N Dash Tournament
The Fin N Feather Sportsman Club and the Oconomowoc Logrolling Club are hosting our 5th annual Lumberjack Games - Splash N Dash tournament where professional and amateur athletes compete in the lumberjack sports of logrolling and boom running, and axe throwing.
This is a family friendly event where families can enjoy watching the fast paced competition of log rolling and boom running and axe throwing! In addition, activities would be set up throughout the area for the general public to enjoy while being outdoors.
All competitors will receive a competition shirt.
Amateur rollers will roll on carpet logs. Competition will begin at 8:00 am and we will run 2 docks until the elite warm ups. The remaining amateur matches will then be on a single dock.
The elite competitors will roll on spike logs. The elite competition will be run on 2 docks until the quarter finals - then it will be a single dock.
Axe Throwing - Competitors under 16 will use a bristle target with foam axes, competitors 16 and up will use real axe target (must have own axe).

Do I have to wear my competitor shirt? Competitor shirts must be worn during competition. Amateurs will receive a t-shirt, elite men will receive cut-off shirt and elite women will receive a racer back tank.

The 2025 La Crosse Open marks the 24th Annual Pro and Amateur Event!
All matches at the La Crosse Open will be best three out of five rolls and follow USLRA rules and regulations.
Pro Logrolling: The La Crosse Open moves to Pettibone Lagoon this year and strives for premier athlete and spectator experience.
Youth rollers of all experiences are welcome and encouraged to join in on the fun! Logs will be held for beginner rollers. All amateur matches will take place on carpeted logs. Amateur rollers must have a paid USLRA membership and wear logrolling shoes.

The US Log Rolling Open is a spirited, athlete-focused event that brings together competitors, fans, and supporters to celebrate the sport of log rolling. With an emphasis on safety, fairness, and good sportsmanship, the tournament aims to create a fun and welcoming experience for all involved. It also plays a key role in promoting the sport, honoring its deep roots, and building momentum for its future growth. Now in its 9th year, the US Log Rolling Open is one of 20 Level 2 events directed by Katie Burke, reflecting her ongoing dedication to supporting the log rolling community and helping the sport thrive.

What rules will be followed?
All USLRA rules will be followed. Additional safety precautions will be taken for an area greater than three feet parallel to the dock. Each competitor will sign a liability waiver, media waiver, and Code of Conduct agreement when registering on the day of the event in order to compete.
Bracket: Official brackets will be seeded based on USLRA rules.
Do I need to wear my competitor shirt? Can I wear my sponsors' logo?
Competitor shirts must be worn during competition and while accepting awards. Personal sponsors’ logos may be worn during competition with prior approval, and can be displayed on hat, shorts, socks or calf sleeves only. Please contact Katie Burke via email by June 16 for approval. Athletes will NOT be permitted to wear clothing or display other items that bear logos, marks, or other identification of products that are competitive with any official tournament sponsors. Current Sponsors include: Visit Escanaba, Jack Pines Lumberjack Shows, and KRICK, LLC- additional Tournament sponsors are still being finalized.
Prize Money:
Guaranteed to be $7,200 total purse split 50/50 between the men's and women's divisions $5,000 log rolling and $2,200 boom running. Log Rolling 1st-$700, 2nd- $500, 3rd- $375, 4th- $275, 5th- $210, 6th- $175, 7th- $145, & 8th- $120. Boom running 1st- $400, 2nd- $275, 3rd- $175, 4th-$115, 5th- $85, & 6th- $50.
What do I receive for my entry fee?
Men will receive a sleeveless shirt and women will receive a racerback tank top. Competition will be on spike logs.

What are the goals of the 2025 Three Rivers Roleo presented by KRICK, LLC?
Three Rivers Roleo strives to provide the best competition. Every effort is being made to provide safety, consistency, and transparency to all athletes while encouraging superior sportsmanship for the enjoyment of our fans. The tournament also serves to promote the sport of log rolling, and demonstrate support for our sponsors who make the event possible.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking - available at Duck Creek Quarry Beach, 2181 Glendale Ave, Howard, WI 54303. Additional parking in nearby lots is available.
This is a World Ranking Series Level Two Tournament log rolling tournament for professionals. All USLRA rules will be followed for professionals and amateurs. Additional safety precautions will be taken for an area greater than three feet parallel to the dock. Match Order Professionals:
Two docks will run for the start of professionals. Traditional bracket order will be followed. A detailed schedule of match order will be available in the competitors' area. Competitors are responsible for paying attention to the match order. Competition will move to one dock in later rounds (if time/weather becomes a constraint) we will stay at two. This will be noted in the competitor area. We will roll off for 5th & 6th and 7th & 8th. Prize money is different.
Match Order Amateurs & Adults Sport:
Minimum of two docks will run for the majority of competition. Competitors are responsible for paying attention to the match order. Follow KRICK log rolling on facebook for age order.
Competitor shirts MUST be worn during competition, while accepting awards, and during tournament photos. Personal sponsors’ logos may be worn during competition with prior approval, and can be displayed on hat, shorts, socks or calf sleeves only. U5 Coed non-ranking logrolling 4:00 check in 4:30 competition (round robin if under 6 participants)
U7 Coed logrolling , same time, competition follow U5 - Double elimination bracket
SATURDAY JULY 12 - we will push all the boom run times back 30 minutes to accommodate travel time, but can't go much later due to darkness
AMATEUR BOOM RUN - 2 timed run, one on each boom. best time will be used for placement. All USLRA rules will be used, but, do not need to finish with only sole of the foot, any finish will be allowed
12-14 Boys/Girls placement if 3 participant in each group
15 - 17 Boy/Girls placement if 3 participants in each group
5:30 warm up, judge meeting 5:50 competitor meeting 6:00 competition

Holmen Summer Splash History and Mission
The Holmen Summer Splash began in 2017 to offer an opportunity for beginner level logrollers to give competition a try in a low-pressure and fun atmosphere. To promote participation and accessibility to families and community members, participant registration and guest admission are free. The event has grown exceptionally in its eight years, attracting over 75 youth and adult athletes from across the Coulee Region in 2024.

HEY LOG ROLLERS of all ages!
The 8th Annual Holmen Summer Splash Logrolling tournament is welcoming brand new logrollers into the fun world of logrolling competition! The main event on Saturday, August 9th is designed for rollers who are new to rolling or have little to no competition experience. First-time rollers are welcome and encouraged to give it a spin at this tournament! Registration and admission are free.

Saturday's competition categories include: Junior (10 and under) Boys, Junior Girls, Senior (11-15) Boys, Senior Girls, and Adult Co-Ed (16+). Warm-ups for all rollers begin at 9:00 am, followed by a round-robin style competition, a pizza party, and an awards ceremony.
The 2024 event welcomed its largest number of participants to date. Every competitor will go home with prizes, skills, friends, and memories they won't forget. We look forward to rolling with you at the 2025 Holmen Summer Splash!
